H-A-A-P-E 2009 to everyone. To some people, this is just another day, to some a day for a fresh start, for some a night to just party and celebrate.
To me its all the above and sometimes is also feels like the Monday after the weekend. We need to go the the whole year like a week and when we get
towards the end of the year where all those holidays make it look like the weekend.
The last year was particularly exciting for me. A lot of travel, I had my parents over from Houston , a million concerts and all it all a hectic and enjoyable year, till the
time when the stock market crashed and my 401k looked more like .401k. But, as usual the new year, brings new hope and a brighter ray of light.
And like everybody, this is the best time to start the top list of concerts
Top 10 Concerts of 2008
1. Iron Maiden (truly entertaining)
2. AC/DC (the only concert where your ears ring)
3. Roger Waters ( beyond class)
4 Metallic ( unsurpassed noise and drunken revelry)
5. The Eagles (pure bliss, and Don Henley can still sing)
6. Foreigner (Definitely didn’t feel like one)
7. Bryan Adams ( My 2nd time, but still worth it )
8. Coldplay ( Drew a lot of the women)
9. Musical Symphony of the Music of Pink Floyd.
10. SPB and Chitra ( One of the most melodious voice ever)
